Serve

"As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the multifaceted grace of God."  1 Peter 4:10

Who should serve?

Serving isn’t just for a select few—it’s a calling for every believer. God has given each person gifts to build up the body of Christ and reflect the love of Jesus through service. Whether your role is seen or behind the scenes, every act of service matters and plays a vital part in helping the church grow and reach others with the Good News of Jesus!

And if you’ve ever thought, “What if I’m not good enough to serve?” you’re not alone, but that doesn’t disqualify you. God doesn’t call the perfect. He equips the willing. Throughout Scripture, He uses ordinary people to accomplish His purposes, reminding us that our weaknesses don’t limit what He can do through a surrendered life.

How do I volunteer with MBC KiDS or Students?

To ensure a safe and nurturing environment, every volunteer serving with MBC KiDS and 6th–12th grade students must complete our volunteer training process and a federal background check before serving. Once you express interest, our team will walk you through the next steps. They’ll help you find a place to serve and connect you where you can make a meaningful impact in the lives of the next generation here at MBC.
