Mark Millsaps

Mark grew up in a small town in North Carolina and felt the Lord calling him into ministry while he was still a teenager. He followed the Lord's calling into youth ministry and knew he had been given a desire to see youth come to know Jesus and deepen their relationship with Him. Mark is also involved in ministry to families within the church, whether they be youth or children's parents.  Mark attended Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. He is married to Sarah and they have four kids.

Kenny attended Liberty University where he received his Master's Degree in Pastoral Counseling. At MBC he oversees FIRST STEPS (Birth - 3-year-olds) and NEXT (Age 4 - 5th Grade) Environments and connects with and equips families of these age groups with environments, recourses, and opportunities to connect with God as individuals and as family units. He also provides counseling including individual, couple, and pre-marital. He is married to Brooke and they have two sons, Benjamin and Jacob. He is a big sports fan and loves his Kentucky Wildcats, Jacksonville Jaguars, Cincinnati Reds, and whatever team LeBron James is playing for.

Lea Curtis

Church Administrator

Lea was born in Germany and raised in Newport News, where her local church has played a shaping role in her life and faith. Over the years, she has served in women’s ministry, Sunday school, and family-focused outreach, discovering a deep joy in helping people feel welcomed, supported, and spiritually grounded. While pursuing her ministry studies at Liberty University, Lea sensed God leading her toward a role that blended her administrative gifting with her heart for people. She is grateful to share life and ministry alongside her husband, Cameron, whose steady support and partnership have been a constant encouragement in her calling. Now serving as Church Administrator at MBC, Lea brings a calm, organized, and compassionate presence to the day-to-day life of the church. Her desire is simple: to support the ministries of MBC with excellence and to help create a place where people can grow in Christ and feel at home.
